The recent discussions around The Steinway Tower, which many cite as New York City’s most slender skyscraper in the world were highlighted by Evan Davis in his recent PM show when he spoke with Lisa Deering, Director at Glancy Nicholls Architects, about her recent experience at Birmingham.
Having worked with Lisa on a number of high rise projects within Birmingham, it was cheering to hear her give credit to the structural engineers for being able to make slender skyscrapers viable.
