Spinning Point is a £15m development in the town centre of Rawtenstall. This development is seen as a strategic opportunity to create a new living working and cultural leisure destination in Rawtenstall, the largest town in the Borough of Rossendale.
We provided civil engineering support to Eric Wright Civil Engineering Ltd for the regeneration of the public open space between Bank Street, Kay Street and the newly constructed bus station (known as Spinning Point).
The new public space will provide residents with open space and a mix of retail and leisure outlets as well as restaurants and a hotel.
Design2e worked with the contractor to support their construction methodology. Our dynamic and professional service provided the knowledge to enable the development to be constructed efficiently. Our environmental experience meant the designs utilised existing materials on site, wherever possible, to reduce waste. The result is a high quality and flexible open space for all the residents of Rawtenstall to enjoy.
